Global Directories, publishers of the Cayman Islands Yellow Pages, was recently honoured with a Cayman’s Top Employer award. Only 12 organizations were given this prestigious award this year, and very strict criteria must be met in order to qualify for it. The award is given to provide recognition to the best employers in the Cayman Islands and it also values organizations that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement and company culture.
When being considered for top employer recognition, companies are assessed based on the following categories: community involvement, pay and benefits, management practices, employee communications, satisfaction level, diversity, physical environment, work atmosphere and camaraderie. An employer must receive high marks in all of these categories in order to receive this important award.
Thirty percent of the score that is given to each company is based on information that is found in the employer-submitted applications. The remaining seventy percent of the score is based on employee surveys. Applications and surveyed were independently assessed by judges in the U.S. and Canada.
